Activities & Accomplishments
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia with Dr. Lia and Dr. Martha and the purpose of HCAFE, the short- and long-term plans were discussed
During the visit of each targeted Health Care Facility, the team have performed an objective and in person assessments of:
The overall Health Care Institution organization and infrastructure
Human resources and the medical need for the hospital
Discussed objective of mission and our future plans.
Donated to each Institutions with several medical supplies and equipment worth several thousand USD bought by HCAFE and collected individually by each member of the team.
Engaged actively in medical care of the wounded and injured victims of the armed conflict at Millennium Trauma Center and Armed Force Hospital and shared and provided expertise advice.
The team met in person with the Amhara Medical Association representatives and discussed future plans in restoration of the destroyed regional health care system.
